new threads

Wow, what a day! It actually started last night at the sold out Cory Morrow show at Antone's. My soon-to-be-famous-any-day-now husband was invited by a guy he had met playing out one night. He had gotten Zach a gig at the grand opening of the new Southern Thread store in the Domain and since they sponsor Cory he hooked us up with VIP tickets. I have been to Antone's loads of times but never as a VIP- oh I felt so cool!

Today was the grand opening party so Miss Litvin and I headed up to the Domain after volunteering at the Quinceanera (post on that to come soon) to see Eagle Eye play. I am happy to say he KILLED it!! All the employees, customers and even the owners of the company were loving him. He sold a ton of CDs and was gifted oodles and oodles of merchandise. Not only are they a great company to be connected to as a Texas musician but Zach really does wear their clothes! I actually just bought him 2 pairs of their jeans from Allens Boots on S.Congress for Christmas. I know the Domain is far but apparently they also have a store in Barton Creek Mall. If you find yourself in either locale check them out for a cool new take on old western wear styles: think embroidered long sleeve dresses, tie-dye thermals, and pearl-snaps for girls- yes please!
